Have an admin option to include post counts per category and per sub-category. Enable the option to have counts for parents only or sun-categories only. Also have options to show the same counts by location. All of these should be able to work independently and be switched off if not wanted.

Add an in Admin page editor for content pages such as privacy policy etc. Also include the option to use or not use a WYSIWYG editor. Include options to create additional pages via admin.

There is no link for login to oc site. I suggest to display it, even if it is not compulsory to register before posting an ad. The logged in user shall be allowed to manage their ads (delete, republish, modify) etc.

Instead of enabling from the admin panel how many pictures to allow, say we can allow unlimited and show 5 pictures and standard and then let the user click 'Add another picture" link. This is because some people add more then 10 for a house and leaving 10 blank image field looks bad.

There should be a feature to promote the advertisements through social media and bookmarking. The api of popular social sites like facebook, twitter, and others should be used to announce the ad.

The more announced ad should be refreshed automatically after each announcement on social media, and shall come up in the ad listing page. by default the list is maintained by new or latest refreshed ad should come first.

Basically, upgrade the Admin Categories section so we don't have to play with code; we can edit from the parent categories up.

This will make it a lot easier to grow a classifieds, in response to user suggestions.

I expect oc can add the api for BMF, BBpress, and phpbb.

I hope oc can add the phone,Place, etc information in the member center. so that the user can public ad without typing the phone number again. everytime, I always need to enter those the above information.

Following on from my quick solution posted in the OC forums add an option in admin to be notified when a new post is created or a new post is activated. I would also recommend an option to not be notified.

I would like to see an option in the user's account to allow them to remove their account when they are no longer using the site. Or an automatic account deletion after a period of no activiy time had passed.

The one way of getting more traffic is to have a Expire Date active on posts, but then the client must receive an email that his post is about to expire and provide him with the potion to renew the post. This is extremely important as presently posts expire without clients knowing.

From marketing point it is important to communicate with clients [advert posters] via News Letters. It will also bring more traffic to the website and provide increased advert income.

There is a need to facilitate paying advertisers. I suggest an option to create a 2nd horizontal bar like "Latest Ads" lower down the pages that facilitates paying clients. In other words the ads in this bar are selected by admin and permanently on display for x period if clients pays y amount.

The current theme wpclassified, has categories and sub categories on home page.

There should be a option to publish N numbers (should be set somewhere in admin area) of featured ads and /or new ads and / or popular ads. the order of featured, popular , and new (which comes first and which section shall come next and so on) should be managed in admin area.
